Simpsons - Epitome of a Normal Family

"You can take the bus when you're old enough to drive a car! " - Marge Simpson

Typical mentality of mum's. It seems that when the necessary second step can be lawfully taken it is time to take the first step!

"No day will be fully wasted without a visit to the jokes shop." - Bart Simpson

Typically mentality of a kid in school without anything productive to do. Ready to waste his day and to the maximum extent possible.

"Homer: Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. " - Homer Simpson
Perfect example of a dad. They never really know what to say and at what time but feel their input is very necessary and that the kids should follow in their footsteps. Yet you must admire his attempt to be responsible.
"***Sucking Sounds***" - Maggie Simpson

An "innocent" baby, who seems to be able to take control when needed despite not being able to walk or talk.

"Do we have any food that wasn't brutally slaughtered?" - Lisa Simpson

The responsible child. Each family has one. She is the one with a conscience and aims at trying to excel in every way. The total goodie two shoes.

Homer: Marge? Since I'm not talking to Lisa, would you please ask her to pass me the syrup? Marge: Dear, please pass your father the syrup, Lisa. Lisa: Bart, tell Dad I will only pass the syrup if it won't be used on any meat product. Bart: You dunkin' your sausages in that syrup homeboy? Homer: Marge, tell Bart I just want to drink a nice glass of syrup like I do every morning. Marge: Tell him yourself, you're ignoring Lisa, not Bart. Homer: Bart, thank your mother for pointing that out. Marge: Homer, you're not not-talking to me and secondly I heard what you said. Homer: Lisa, tell your mother to get off my case. Bart: Uhhh, dad, Lisa's the one you're not talking to. Homer: Bart, go to your room.

Shows how well this seemingly disfunctional family can function together! LOL! Perfection!
