Water

Help save water so it can save you!

  • Somewhere between 70 and 75 percent of the earth’s surface is covered with water.
  • Roughly 70 percent of an adult’s body is made up of water.
  • At birth, water accounts for approximately 80 percent of an infant’s body weight.
The importance of water is enormous, but unfortunately not enough is being done to help
  • 3.575 million people die every year from a water related disease
  • 884 million people lack access to clean water
  • Every 20 seconds a child dies from a water related disease
Check out www.water.org and see what you can do to help!

Help me #twakeover water.org's tweets for a week to spread the message.

Inspiration

This picture is a true and accurate depiction of me when inspiration strikes!
Everywhere that I turn, almost literally inspiration strikes. It strikes so hard that it is all I can think about for the next few days at least. People, objects, innovations and any form of creativity are inspiring. How do I channel all my inspiration? I am writing down as many of them as I can to inspire me when I need it most.

There are just so many people and so many new things coming up which never seize to leave me awe struck. Glad to have the opportunity to know, meet and interact with those people. It has really inspired me to do a few things and one thing in particular, which I hope to pursue soon!

M.I.A

My Dearest Blogosphere

I am very sorry for ignoring you all these days. Its not you, its me.

Actually that's a lie, partially.

You are very high maintenance and require significant thought, time and attention. I do really love you and we have had many good times. But just so you know, you have some serious competition. I have found two new and very serious lovers. I regret to inform you that they are none other than your Web 2.0 co-workers Twitter and Pinterest!

Twitter is low maintenance and really understands what I want to convey without a lengthy discussion, 160 characters is all it takes. Its a party everyday with Twitter, with 600+ others counting. We have more mutual friends and its easier to stay in touch, whether its public or private. Twitter is my gossip pal giving me insights into the lives of the rich, talented and famous. There's probably much more that I love about it, but I don't want to make you jealous!

Ok now about your second foe, Pinterest. Pinterest is very visually stimulating. Pinterest teaches me about things I have never seen or heard of. Its exciting, fun, attractive and extremely friendly. The knowledge Pinterest possesses is so vast and varied. Best thing is its also very low maintenance and it really does believe in sharing and caring.

You are linked in many ways to Pinterst, so don't fear I do think about you and silently keep tabs on you. Having said all of what I have said above, you are always my first and foremost web 2.0 love and you will never be forgotten. I will sincerely try not to ignore you so much if you also treat me well. Introduce me to more of your friends, be active like you used to be, give me constant feedback and lets both make more of an effort to keep ourselves updated about one another.

Here's to a third time of trying to go steady! Cheers!

Love Always

p.s There's also Facebook, Google+, Flickr, Instagram and many more, but let's talk about those another time!
