Mind Power

Back with another post in less than a week!!! WOW amazing! ;)

I think I am starting to develop a phased insomnia (insomnia that occurs in phases). One of the major reasons for this is thinking lots and lots and lots about anything and everything. I am sure there are many others out there who have the same problem, where the clock strikes 'night'(as night time differs greatly person to person) and there brain starts whizzing and wurring working over time thinking about a chain of thoughts linked but starting from A and ending at Z.

In one of these thinking sessions of mine (otherwise known as night/sleeping time) I had a revelation. To find out more read below:

All of these ideas are my own and have absolutely no scientific backing to them, but the possibility of there being scientific evidence to this is very high!

Thoughts are divided up into three categories: out-load thoughts, in-loud thoughts and silent thoughts. What the ...... are these do you ask?

    • Out Loud Thoughts - Are thoughts that occur and are blurted out immediately as soon as they are said. Somewhat like Jim Carey in 'Liar Liar', its thoughts you may not intend to openly say but you somehow do end up saying them. Usually the cause of "I wish I had thought before I spoke," moments!

    • In Loud Thoughts - These are thoughts which really punch out the sleep at night and keep you awake for hours on end. Do you ever hear voices in your head even if it is your own? Then this is definitely an in-loud thought! This can be compared to the movie 'What Women Want' but the thoughts that Mel Gibson hears would actually be the thoughts that the other person is thinking in-loud!

    • Silent Thoughts - These are thoughts you often don't even realise you have had. Sub-conscious thoughts and the like, fall into this category. More often than not you realise much much later that you have had these thoughts. Memories of certain events can also be considered silent thoughts. You never realise that you have taken in the information until much later, when you are ready to call it a memory!

So after categorising the thoughts I was thinking more. Then I was wondering whether the in-loud (in the mind) thoughts can in fact be easily translated into the out-loud thoughts? It should in theory be really simple as more often than not you can actually hear yourself thinking and speaking in your head without speaking out loud e.g when studying, saying prayers etc. The only major difference between the in and out thoughts must be the translation from just thoughts to sound.

So I guess it should only be a matter of time for people to simulate something which works just like us and translates at least the in-loud thoughts to the out-loud thoughts! I have no idea what is needed, perhaps a mouth, a tongue, a working neurosystem etc etc... But all that needs to be done is to retrieve the voice from in the head to out the head, perhaps a mind speaker or something of the sort! Eureka... I think I may be on to something, also I have the sneaking suspicion someone else may also be onto the same thing much before and with much more scientific evidence behind it. So to conclude I say I can and can't wait for this to happen!

Silence and Back!

Hey all,

Here I am once again back after some silence! Its been a busy few months and now time has come for things to calm down and give me some extra things to do things I love such as blogging!! YAY!!!

In light of being back I thought I would share a song that my sister and I composed and put together just for a bit of fun! We were meant to read text as a voice over and decided to put it into a song instead. Listen and leave your comments. Also try to guess which one is my voice! Hahahaha!!!

The music requires QuicTime plugin and also it may take some time to load. Please be patient and have fun listening! LOL!
